Anheuser-Busch Employees' Credit Union (ABECU) is a full-service financial institution offering a wide variety of products and services to its members nationwide and around the world. ABECU is currently ranked as a "Top 150" credit union in the U.S. and is a recognized leader in the development of interstate delivery of financial services. The core purpose of ABECU is to help its members achieve financial success.

When ABECU first began its relationship with SKYLIST in 2001, it was simply interested in using basic broadcast email services to communicate with its membership via a bi-weekly newsletter crafted by its marketing department. At the time, the ability to manage its opt-in list and to easily broadcast its email messages was the key features sought by the Credit Union.

According to ABECU Marketing Manager, Paula Anderson, after reviewing several email service providers, "we ultimately identified SKYLIST's combined understanding of our unique requirements and its exceptional hosting services as the best match for ABECU."

That was two years ago. Throughout the ongoing relationship, SKYLIST has continued to work closely with Paula and her team to make sure that new email marketing technologies are adopted to assist ABECU in providing the utmost member service.

ABECU has continued to evolve its use of broadcast email services to provide its members with personalized communications including, most recently, eStatement notifications. The Credit Union had provided eStatement services to its members for well over a year before pairing up this service with SKYLIST's StormPost service.

David Gray, ABECU Electronic Services Manager, remembers the man-hours and server resources of handling these notifications "in house" and recognized SKYLIST's ability to help once again.

"While SKYLIST's proposal for our eStatement email notifications sounded like exactly what we needed, it wasn't until ABECU actually experienced false-positive filtering that the appropriateness of its solution became apparent. During our second eStatement notification using the SKYLIST StormPost solution, reports revealed that several messages we'd sent had been blocked. SKYLIST responded rapidly to the scenario by immediately communicating with the administrators of the ISPs that had blocked our email. The efforts they took on our behalf were a confirmed success!"
