Since 1969, UNFPA, the United Nations Population Fund, has served as the world's largest international source of funding for population and reproductive health programs. Working with governments and non-governmental organizations in over 140 countries UNFPA has provided nearly $6 billion in assistance to developing countries.

When UNFPA contacted SKYLIST in 2002, broadcast email programs were green field for the organization. Accordingly, UNFPA Marketing Director, Alvaro Serrano was determined to identify and implement solution designed specifically around UNFPA's unique email communication campaign requirements.
